About this event
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) is collaborating with the Campus Community Hub to inform the new National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety for Post-Secondary Students being developed by the Mental Health Commission of Canada. These guidelines help promote effective mental health practices by professors, staff and mental support centres on campuses across Canada to ensure that students feel that they are receiving adequate support for their mental health issues. Please note that this event is for students only.
Date: Tuesday, March 26th at 9am to 11am MST.
Location: The Hunter Hub in the MacEwan Student Centre (next to the UCalgary Bookstore).
Complimentary food provided!
If you're unable to attend the discussion but still want to talk about your experience of mental health support on campus, please consider filling out our survey.
If you require any disability accommodations or have any dietary restrictions, please contact Adam Retsinas (adam.retsinas@neads.ca).
