About this event

For over 25 years, The Colonel Walker Community School Association (CWCSA) has been responsible for raising funds to support parent led initiatives for the children of Colonel Walker School, the children who attend Colonel Walker Programs Afterschool/Hot Lunch at the Community Center, and the children of Inglewood in general. Pre-Covid, the Kitchen Party raised over $5,000.00 for a number of initiatives including:

1) An anti-bullying program working with the Afterschool program and Colonel Walker School with training for teachers and staff.2) The start of the Afterschool Program library.3) Support for the Shinny program at the community center (open to all).4) New Lego and toys for the Afterschool Program.5) New outdoor toys for the Afterschool program.6) A year end BBQ for all the students at Colonel Walker School.7) Funding for the CWS parent council.

All of these initiatives, among many others were made possible because of supporters like you. This year the CWCSA hopes to raise more than $5,000 to support our work further.

On Saturday, April 9th, the CWCSA is hosting our annual Kitchen Party at the Inglewood Community Hall. Why? Because everyone knows the best house parties happen in the kitchen! On an evening that has been nearly three years in the making, guests will have a chance to win door prizes, bid on a diverse selection of items in the silent auction and dance the night away to music by renowned local artist Jory Kinjo & The Relays.

For CWCSA and ICA members and invited guests.
