Innovacorp Sprint Lunch and Learn
Event Information
Description
Sprint is a competition for early stage technology companies in Nova Scotia. Winners receive up to $25,000 and guidance from seasoned business professionals to put their plans into action and tackle short-term technical and/or business milestones in a start-up “sprint.” Winners that demonstrate progress on milestones may reapply for funding in subsequent Sprint competitions.
The goal of Sprint is to find and support the best high potential, early stage knowledge-based technology companies in Nova Scotia, while encouraging entrepreneurial activity in the province.
Target sectors for this program include information technology, clean technology, life sciences and ocean technology. We’re especially interested in deep technology opportunities, which we define as technology based on a scientific discovery or new engineering innovation. However, we welcome submissions from any sector.
If that’s your venture, join Innovacorp program coordinator, Nick Punjabi, for lunch. He’ll walk you through the application process, criteria and program structure, and share some tips and success stories.
