Join other youth, 18-30, in a friendly case competition, ideating solutions to bite-sized problems for impact-driven organizations.

About this Event

Driven to make an impact and love a good competition? Work with a team of like-minded peers, virtually across Canada, to create a solution for a social enterprise, non-profit, co-operative, or charity.

The Innovation Jam is part 1 of Impact Exchange: the flagship event for youth 18 - 30 at MaRS Impact Week. Impact Exchange is hosted by three national, impact-focused, youth-driven organizations: HSBC Social Innovation Academy, National Social Value Fund, and Railyard Lab. The Innovation Jam is limited to 25 youth participants. Application instructions can be found below!

What to expect:

  • Deadline extended: please submit an application to participate through this form. We will be accepting applications on a rolling basis, with a hard deadline of Friday, November 27th at 11:59pm PT. If your application is successful, you will hear back from our team via email by Monday, November 30th.
  • If you're selected as a participant, on the day of, you'll be working with your team for an hour to create a presentation that will be shared with a panel of judges and all participants.
