Event description

Description

Our first seminar this winter features Nathan Stubina, FCIM, Managing Director of Innovation at McEwen Mining presenting "Innovation in Mining" and Siri Genik, Principle of BRIDGE presenting "Non-quantitative Risk in Mining".

The Mineral Exploration Knowledge & Skills Seminar Series features distinguished industry professionals from a broad range of relevant disciplines with the goal of filling the gap between university and industry. The seminar will take place in the McEwen Mining Office (150 King Street W #2800, Toronto, ON). Pizza and drinks will be served mid-way through each seminar and the cost is included in the ticket price.

Early bird tickets are $5 for students and early-career geoscientists, and $20 for others. Early bird pricing expires at midnight on Friday, February 16. Regular prices are $10 for students and early-career geoscientists, and $40 for others.

A live webinar stream is freely available to geoscience groups at universities. Please contact info@nextgengeo.ca to set this up if your group is interested in tuning in remotely.
