About this event

On Wednesday, September 23 please join us as we hear from our keynote Mr. George Armoyan (BEng'83), an entrepreneur with extensive experience in real estate and various industries, including his current positions as President of Geosam Capital and the Executive Chair of Clarke Inc.

Mr. Armoyan will share his entrepreneurial journey and success story. He will explore his most pivotal moments and what motivates him to mentor and support the next generations of entrepreneurs, providing budding entrepreneurs with advice.

Mr. Armoyan will be joined by Mo AlGermozi, an up and coming entrepreneur who built his business with the support of Dal's Emera ideaHUB. The Q&A portion of the event will be moderated by engineering student, Gina Park and Executive Director Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Jeff Larsen.

Open Dialogue Live was created as a complement to the Open Dialogue program and launched in spring 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic through virtual events. The programming offers an opportunity to collaborate, discuss and otherwise engage in meaningful and thoughtful discussions.

The IDEA Speaker Series showcases innovation leaders in the Nova Scotia community, exposing students, alumni, startups, and ecosystem partners to opportunities for growth in their careers, and the tools and inspiration to drive a culture of innovation in Atlantic Canada.

The event will be livestreamed via Facebook Live and viewers will have an opportunity to engage during the Q&A portion following the discussion. Recordings will be available post-event.
