Brain Health in Late Life: Promising Approaches for Challenging Illnesses
Dementia. Alzheimer’s. Depression. Schizophrenia. As our population ages, chronic mental health conditions are challenging older adults, their families and the medical community.
Join us on November 4 for the third in the Innovations in Mental Health series presented by CAMH and MaRS Discovery District. This interactive evening will feature Dr. Catherine Zahn, President and CEO of CAMH, and Dr. Ilse Treurnicht, CEO, MaRS Discovery District, in conversation with a panel of experts at the forefront of pioneering geriatric research and treatment.
Learn about non-invasive approaches to help relieve depression, alleviate mild dementia and improve brain function for older adults. MaRS startup companies will be present to demonstrate innovative technologies being developed to address challenges in mental health.
