Event description

Description

In this course we will go over the post-production workflow for dealing with 360 degree footage, starting with ways to stay organized, ingest your footage, stitching in Kolor and how to synchronize and calibrate your stitch. We will discuss issues such as such as color matching, bad synchronization, fixing the stitch when you have parallax issues, and working with color points. Stitching can be hard work and takes practice, but the aim is that once you understand the underlying techniques, you will feel more confident to start and finish your projects.

Elli Raynai is a writer, producer, director, and VR filmmaker. He formed the production company Cinehackers in 2015 to focus on making cinematic VR experiences. He has made two feature films and eight short films but his passion for art and technology led him to explore the possibilities of telling stories and creating experiences in virtual reality. His latest experience "I Am You" was the official selection of the 2016 Kaleidoscope VR World Tour and can now be found on the Gear VR store.
