InsituSIM - Alternative Wellpad Configurations & Water Mgmt Strategies
Event Information
About this event
InsituSIM was created by Process Ecology as a Joint Industry Project with COSIA. The tool enables efficient techno-economic evaluations of various technologies and operating conditions at in situ oil sands Central Processing Facilities (CPF). The impact of various process modifications on the performance of a CPF is evaluated by performing mass and energy balances coupled with economic analysis at the block flow diagram level.
Based on user feedback and COSIA priorities, InsituSIM v 3.0 has been recently released with several important model extensions and software enhancements.
Upon requests from users a series of 3 webinars are being offered to demonstrate the new capabilities. Each session will include an introduction for new users.
- Workshop #1 (October 8) - Heat Exchanger Network Modelling & Natural Gas Decarbonization
- Workshop #2 (November 12) - Heat Exchanger Network Modelling and Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells (MCFC)
- Workshop #3 (This Event) - Alternative Wellpad Configurations (co-injection) and Water Management Strategies.
The Webinars would require attendees to have already created accounts to InsituSIM by registering via the www.insitusim.com portal as it is expected attendees would follow the examples and ask specific questions via screen sharing.
