Event description
This is a course that offers you a new perspective for how nature could hold the secrets to our own creativity and sustainability.

About this Event

"We cannot solve today's problems with the same thinking that created them." - Einstein

This course teaches you to adopt a new paradigm to create new possibilities.

  • Dell said that 85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 do not exist today.
  • Steve Jobs said, "I think the biggest innovations of the twenty-first century will be the intersection of biology and technology. A new era is beginning."
  • And Forbes said that biomimicry, innovation and creativity that's inspired by nature, will be the biggest idea for solving today's biggest challenges.

In this course, we unpack the brilliance of nature's forms, processes and systems, and learn to extract solutions for how to thrive on this planet. We learn how to shift our mindset, to see nature in a whole new light, to access a deeper source of our own creativity in order to become the leaders in one of the fastest growing frontiers on our planet - learning design secrets from the natural world.

This is a course for those who want to push the status quo, access a deeper levels of creativity, and connect to the genius of life. Join award winning designer, and biomimicry expert, Jamie Miller, PhD in this paradigm-shifting course.

For the last 15 years, Jamie's been studying, teaching and applying biomimicry around the world. His consultancy has made award-winning biomimicry Master Plans and house designs. He's applied biomimicry technologies with some of world's biggest companies. And for five years he taught OCAD University's biomimicry programs while receiving a PhD in engineering, which focused on systems-level biomimicry application. When you take this course, you are one-degree away from the source as Jamie was trained by Janine Benyus - the woman who coined the term, biomimicry.

Jamie is a two-time TEDx speaker and founder of the Biomimicry Commons, which Fast Company named the s a "World Changing Idea".

Be inspired by nature.

Be a part of the next great frontier.
