This year we have something for everyone!  If you are an enthusiast, hobbyiest, beginner, or seasoned professional there's something for you!

ACCOMODATION INFO Room block rate for Friday and Saturday nights (Nov. 17/18th) is an affordable $99 per night at the Charlottetown Inn and Conference Centre (formerly Best Western Hotel, Charlottetown) which is walking distance to the college. This includes breakfast, parking and free WiFi.  Call (902) 892-2461 to reserve and mention you are with the Photography conference.

SCHEDULE (subject to change).  All events at Holland College lower level Lecture Theatres and area unless otherwise noted.  Please only enter through the main doors on Kent Street.  There will be signs to lead you to the lower level where all the fun will be happening.


Friday November 17th


8:30am Registration/ check-in

9am-3pm (approx) PPOC Atlantice Image Salon Judging.

3pm-5pm Social Media for Photographers, Kerri-Anne MacDougall


Dinner on your own


7-9pm PERSPECTIVES SHOW.  A wonderful multimedia presentation. 13 themes, 13 photographers creating their 'perspective' from within their theme.  Included in full registration.  Tickets may be purchased for the general public.

9:00pm President's Pub Night. Meet and greet, casual social to take place at The Ally, 200 Richmond Street. Walking distance from the Hotel/ College. Socializing, prizes and bowling if you like!


Saturday November 18th, Saturday, Mini sessions all day.  

 

Choose which sessions you want to attend.  NOTE you must book your space for the studio sessions as there are class limits.


6:30am sunrise walk about town with Brent McCombs (to be confirmed/ weather pending)

 

9:30am -noon  Alex Murchison,  LIGHTING FUNDAMENTALS. This is a hands on studio lighting workshop.  Class limit of 10. Beginner to Intermediate Must pre-register Contact Alex to reserve your place digitalstill@hotmail.com

 

9am to 10:15am Buffie Boily, BEING PROFITABLE WITHOUT SELLING FILES.

10:15am- break

Louise Vessey, Master of Photographic Arts has been a professional photographer for 27 years.  She owns and operates Light and Vision and Vessey Studio.  Louise has worked with Holland College teaching workshops and hosting student job training for many years and is happy to collaborate with them once again to present this special educational event.
