Description

Dr. Lincoln Lau is based in Asia working closely with Research at International Care Ministries, Philippines (ICM), as well as an Adjunct Lecturer at Dalla Lana School of Public Health, The University of Toronto. Dr. Lau first pursued public health at the University of Hong Kong, specializing in infectious disease epidemiology. Participating in community-based randomized controlled trials funded by the US Centers for Disease Control; he was involved with conducting and analyzing community based studies. Starting in 2011, he collaborated with ICM, developing research infrastructure and capacity, annually surveying over 10,000 households and conducting three large community-based RCTs with Yale University. The goal of these studies and data gathering efforts is to produce high-quality evidence that is actionable and relevant to poverty alleviation programs throughout low and middle income countries.
