ACTIVATING COMMUNITY THOUGH CO-DESIGN – Integrating Sustainable Energy in Toronto's Post-Secondary Institutions


University Campuses are platforms for transformation; a living lab where opportunities for collaboration and co-creation is probable. There is a need for integrated approaches towards sustainable energy development on campus.There is an opportunity for post-secondary campuses to be early adopters that unlock the future of clean energy.


Sustainability Ontario Community Energy Co-operative is hosting a living lab workshop and luncheon.


We are inviting

  • Campus facilities and operation staff

  • Teaching and research staff

  • Student groups

  • Sustainable energy champions

to unpack the challenges and opportunities for sustainable energy integration on campus.


A Living Lab Workshop and Luncheon

Friday March 31st, 10:00am – 1:30pm

at MaRS Discovery District


Together we will be unpacking and showcasing examples of campus-based research and teaching projects that enable sustainable energy adoption.
