The unprecedented growth of the craft beer market is creating a huge demand for educated brewers with experience and a solid education in brewing science. The incredible growth in the industry isn't just a North American phenomenon — the craft beer market is exploding world-wide!
Find out what it takes to become a head brewer or open your own brewery at the KPU Brewing & Brewery Operations information session, brewery tour, and beer tasting on Oct. 26th. Chat with our Brewing faculty, local brewers, current students and KPU Brewing alumni — many of who are head brewers in local breweries — to learn more about an education and career in the craft beer industry.
During the info session, you'll get a tour of our campus brewery which is equipped with state-of-the-art NSI Newlands brewing equipment — NSI builds some of the best brewing systems in the world. We'll also be doing a beer tasting with a variety of KPU-brewed beers, including India Pale Ale (IPA), Pale Ale and Porter.
If you're curious about a career in craft beer, be sure to get a ticket for this event!
