Description

This EVENING snack + learn event will feature a intergenerational panel of people from the trans community who will speak to their lived experiences growing up in Saskatchewan and what their identity means to them. The panel will be moderated by an OUTSaskatoon staff person.

This event is being put on during Transgender Awareness Week as a way to raise up the diverse voices of people within the Trans community and to highlight where we've been, how far we've come, and how much further we have to go in the fight for equal rights and treatment of Trans folx.

Details:

Location: OUTSaskatoon
Event time: Doors at 6:30pm and the panel will run from 7:00-8:30pm
Entry: Sliding scale (all profit will be shared amongst our panelists)
Food and (non-alcoholic) drinks will be provided
All ages are welcome
OUTSaskatoon is fully accessible via an elevator that is accessible through the front double doors.
This event takes place on Treaty 6 Territory and homeland of the Metis people. This event will feature Two Spirit voices.
