Intermediate guided hike- Yamnuska
Event Information
About this Event
This hike is suitable for a beginner hiker but you must be physically fit. This can be done by a beginner hiker but be prepared for elevation gain (going UP) This is a 7.2km hike with 534 meters elevation. We will be heading up Yamnuska and enjoying the beautiful views. We will only be going as far as the lookout (Ravens End) We are moving at a steady pace. It’s a climb with some switch backs to a spectacular view. The last 20 minutes includes some steep inclines. We will not be doing the ridge walk ( that makes it much more difficult) We will be returning down the path we came on.. Meeting at the trail head
This is rated as intermediate and you must be fit and sure footed to attend. Prepare yourself for sweeping views from the top that will make for great photo opportunities, and time to enjoy the journey. Your guide will cover safety, conservation and provide information on the history of the area. There is some rich history and interesting debate about the name.
Please be sure to provide a email address and correct phone number so I can stay in touch. All details with items to pack, carpooling and more will be provided in an email 7-10 days before the hike.
Refund policy: We don’t do refunds - within 2 weeks or exchanges for tickets within a week of your hike. I have emergency and medical info on each hiker that is logged with a check in person . If there was any type of emergency all that info needs to be correct for each hike. Please DO NOT attend if you have covid 19 symptoms.
