Event description

Description

Learn how to make a stained glass window panel using the copper foil method.

This intermediate stained glass class will take place once a week for 5 weeks on Wednesday evenings starting in November.

Day 1 - November 13th from 6pm to 9pm

Day 2 - November 20th from 6pm to 9pm

Day 3 - November 27th from 6pm to 9pm

Day 4 - December 4th from 6pm to 9pm

Day 5 - December 11th from 6pm to 9pm

In this course you will learn how to make a stained glass window panel. You will learn how to build a panel in a zinc frame, use the glass saw, and finish your project with patina. This course will build on the Intro to Stained Glass class. Prior experience in stained glass is required.

At the end of the course you will have a completed window panel that is 12" x 16".

For participants that register by November 6th, I will create a custom pattern for your window specific to your liking.

It is recommended that you bring a bottle of water and to tie your hair back if you have long hair.

All materials are included in the course cost.

Due to space limitations, this class is limited to 4 participants.

Registration closes November 11th at Noon. I must have at least 2 participants registered in order to run the course.

You will be working with glass and lead. Expect a few cuts. This class should not be taken by anyone that is pregnant as lead may cause birth defects.
