Description

The one-day IFI Education Sector Symposium will feature presentations from the Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, and Caribbean Development as well as the Organization of Eastern Caribbean State’s Education Development Management Unit. Morning sessions will focus on education sector priorities and programming for each of these organizations. Afternoon workshops will focus on technical aspects of pursuing IFI-funded projects.

The Symposium is specifically designed to provide an opportunity for participants to:

• Initiate dialogues and build relationships with project officers responsible for education and training projects.
• Understand the composition of IFI project pipelines in the education sector as well as project requirements and constraints.
• Build capacity related to bid development and approaches for IFI business development.
• Create opportunities for networking amongst internationally-oriented education and training organizations in the Atlantic Region.
