You are invited to celebrate International Human Rights Day at the Ontario Science Centre on Friday, December 1st.
The doors open at 6:45 pm and the event starts at 7:15 pm. The Ontario Science Centre is located at 770 Don Mills Rd, Toronto, ON, M3C 1T3 (Don Mills Road just south of Eglinton Ave. E.).
There is free admission and free parking.
A variety of entertainers and prominent human rights speakers will be participating including representatives from the York Regional District School Board, Hon. Salma Ataullahjan and student activists.
The purpose of Youth for Human Rights is to educate youth about human rights, specifically the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to inspire them to become advocates for tolerance and peace.
