Description

The International Women’s and Children’s Health Conference is an annual one-day conference designed for students, faculty and community members who are passionate about exploring the many facets of women’s and children’s health at home and around the world. Founded in 1998 by Dr. Jean Chamberlain and Dr. Lynda Redwood, the IWCH conference continues to provide a valuable opportunity for attendees to engage with the conference theme through the lens of medicine, social work, research and philanthropy, law, and more.

The global theme of this year's 2017 Conference is "Pushing Forward: The Impact of Modernization on Women's and Children's Health".

Event Details:

Workshop Themes include Knowledge Translation, Sustainability & Innovation, Ethical Considerations, Gender Roles & Identity, Technology & Innovation, Stigma of Sexual Health, Culture as a Barrier to Modernization and Preventable causes

Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Dietary restrictions can be accomodated.
