On International Women’s Day 2017, Startup Canada will advance the conversation, celebrate the contributions of women to the Canadian economy, and challenge Canada's 2.3 million entrepreneurs to Be Bold for Change to accelerate gender parity and further unleash the economic potential of women.

This event is a program of Startup Canada, the national rallying community and voice for Canada's entrepreneurs, and #StartupGov, a community of public servants, politicians, entrepreneurs, innovators and ecosystem experts working together to build an innovative nation, through internal government transformation, that solves challenges for all Canadians.
This event is presented in partnership with Mastercard Canada, Intuit Canada, BDC, Lockheed Martin Canada and Groupe Germaine. Proceeds from this event will be donated to the United Way Spark Program, an initiative that brings together women from across the region to connect, collaborate and invest in grass-root projects that create meaningful change in Ottawa’s most vulnerable communities.
