Internet of Things - Hands-on Workshop [BYOL]

Description
From cellphones to coffee makers, almost any electronic device with an on/off switch can be connected to the Internet. The Internet of Things (IoT) hands-on workshop is an amazing opportunity to learn how to build your own IoT device accessible through the cloud, coded in the Arduino programming language. Participants will leave with an Internet-connected object to make their homes smarter!
Participants must bring their own laptops.
Instructor
Youssef El Alaoui (from DigiLabs-MTL) holds a bachelor's degree in microelectronics engineering from UQAM and a certificate in telecommunications. He is currently completing his Electrical Engineering DESS at the Polytechnic Montreal.
Audience
Very basic knowledge of computer skills. All ages welcome. Course will be offered in English and French.
