Parents, grandparents, caregivers and professionals - children and youth are vulnerable when on digital devices. We are becoming increasingly remote from their activities. Therapists and professionals would find this session of particular interest to learn of their liabilities with children and youth when digital devices are present. The majority of parents and grandparents have little knowledge of their own liabilities when children are using devices they have purchased - children and youth engage in many activities, such as self exploitation, which can cause liabilities on the part of the parent, caregiver or professional.
This session targets safety and protection from an adult supervision requirement. Digital supervision is a necessity in this digital world.
Attend and learn from speakers who will share their knowledge and experiences:
CLIFF FORD - a Toronto father who aided police in protecting his daughter from a CHILD PREDATOR in Ohio.
JEFF GRAY - retired Detective Constable of the Ontario Provincial Police, will discuss the Canadian Criminal Code and his experiences as a DETECTIVE with child pornography crimes.
CHARLENE DOAK-GEBAUER - Author of "Digital Sexual Victims: True Cases Learn about Digital Supervision For Child Protection", has presented on Parliament Hill to members of Parliament. Book will be available for purchase.
