Event description

Description

Learn the basics of modern calligraphy in the Intro to Calligraphy Workshop, taught by Toronto-based calligrapher Alicia Spence.

In this 2.5-hour workshop, you'll use Pointed Pens & Ink to learn how to master each pen stroke, write the upper and lower case alphabet & numbers, and connect letters to form words. Lots of tips and tricks will be shared, and each student will get individual attention in a small class size setting.

No experience is required, and all supplies are included with registration, so you can continue your lettering journey at home!

The Intro to Calligraphy Toolkit comes with every ticket and includes:

  • Calligraphy Pen Holder

  • Zebra G Nib

  • India Ink

  • 2-pot Dinky Dip Ink Pots

  • Intro to Calligraphy Worksheets

  • Personalized Clipboard

  • Personalized Folder

  • Watercolour Place Cards

  • Plus more!

Coffee and light snacks are provided, but feel free to bring your own refreshments and take a stroll through the beautiful Toronto Botanical Gardens after the workshop!

*Personalized items are handmade in the ticket buyer's name. If you register a ticket for someone else or register more than one ticket, please e-mail the student names to hello@aliciaspence.ca
