Overview: This course is a continuation of Intro to CNC 1 designed to give participants an introduction in to the core concepts and considerations in preparing a 3D program to be machined on a CNC router. This course will take participants through compiling a program for a 3D design. Then attempting to write a program using V-carve Pro, with guidance from the instructor.
Learn how to set up a 3D NC program in order to take a digital model, and turn it into a physical product, machined on a router
Learn when a router is the right tool for the job
Learn to write a program which is both safe for the machine, as well as efficient
Audience: For people who want to start making 3D products on the CNC router, and for people interested in learning about CNC machining.
Duration: 2 hours
Pre-requisites: Intro to CNC 1 (Router) or equivalent experience
Requirements: Participants need to bring their own laptops with V-carve Pro installed
