Event description
A half-day session to learn the basics of construction risk management.

About this event

One of the main reasons projects fail to stay on plan, is the impact of risks that materialize during the build. Risk management is one of the underutilized practices that every construction project manager should have in his (or her) toolbelt.

During his half-day workshop, participants will learn how to control project risks proactively rather than having the risks controlling the project. Participants will learn the principles, processes, tools and techniques of construction risk management.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Explain the project risk management process
  • Identify the risk level of a project
  • Develop a detailed risk management strategy to address the risks

This course will be delivered in one half-day session (10:30am to 2:00pm Eastern time) on November 12, 2021.

This workshop is designed for construction individuals working in the office or on the job site who would like to proactively control project risks. It will also benefit owners, contractors, and consultants.
