Description: This is a beginner class, where you will make either a cup cozy or headband, learn how to start a knitting project, finish it and even change colours. This class is great for anyone just getting started and is ideal for true beginners.
Outcomes: You will learn to Cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, bind off. Additionally we will discuss fiber, different types and their characteristics (what to use when), how to read patterns ie: seed stitch, ribbing and changing colours. Lastly you will leave understanding the importance of tension and gauge.
Supplies Required: None
Supplies Supplied: Knitting needles, yarn, mug, and pattern
3, two hour classes will give you a great foundation to start and finish all types of project. (3 weeks January 15th, 22nd & 28th
** This class is geared toward left handed individuals, but righties are welcome too.
