During this class, Laura Gilmour of Wild Muskoka will share with participants the fasinating ecology of mushrooms and role they play in the natural world and human history. She will walk participants through the steps to learn how to safely and accurately identifiy mushrooms. After the introduction session we will explore the land as a group and talk about to how assess habitats for good mushroom hunting, see what species are fruiting and discuss their edible or medicinal potential.
