Intro to Mushrooms (Online)

What are the good edibles and the dangerously toxic fungi in Southwest BC? Come enjoy the mycelial musings of Dr. Kent Brothers, local mycologist and member of the Vancouver Mycological Society, and learn the basics of mushroom identification before the end of the season. Kent will answer many of your mushroom questions, including: What is a mushroom/fungus? How many kinds of fungi are there? and How do you tell if one is edible/toxic?

Kent will illustrate the edible & toxic fungi with photos and discuss how to differentiate look-alikes.

**This program will take place on Zoom, so please make sure you have Zoom downloaded well in advance of the webinar. A Zoom link can be found within your confirmation email, and will also be sent out one hour before the start of the program. Only one ticket required per household.
