Event Information
About this event
Join us for an Intro to R workshop that spans over 4-morning sessions from 9 am to 12 pm on February 23 and 24 - March 1 and 2, 2022.
This webinar is designed for data professionals who are new to programming, and want to use R to enhance their data science skills and workflows.
Participants will:
- learn the fundamentals of the R language,
- import and explore data,
- clean up and summarize data,
- make compelling static data visualizations,
- and more!
What is R?
R is a popular programming language for statistical computing, commonly used in many scientific disciplines for statistical analysis, generating publication-quality graphics, and automating data workflow tasks.
The Intro to R workshop content will follow best practices for using R for data analysis, giving attendees a foundation in R and scientific computing fundamentals. This is not a statistics workshop and no statistical knowledge is required.
