This hands-on course introduces students to 3D modelling using Rhinoceros, basic rendering and animation. Students should learn about surface modelling, creating and editing 3D nurbs curves and solids. This course will cover Rhinoceros' functionality, and include the most advanced surfacing commands. Courses are held at OCAD U using the latest software. This is a qualifying course towards the Certificate in Digital Media Skills.
Herman Borrego, M.Arch (Candidate), B.Des. LEED AP BD+C
Herman Borrego is an architectural designer rising in Toronto, Canada. He has worked at a number of multidisciplinary design practices and architectural firms. Currently, his interests lie on geometry and material experimentation through the use of parametric algorithms and digital fabrication. Herman is currently enrolled in the Master of Architecture program at the University of Toronto. His background education includes an honours Architectural Technician Diploma and a Bachelor of Design, which includes a major in Environmental Design and a minor in Graphic Communication.

Is this event open to everyone?
This course is available through OCAD Continuing Studies and is not DGC exclusive. However, the registration through this page is only open to DGC and GAP members currently in Good Standing, who have pre-paid and registered for this event through this page. There will be no payments taken at the door.

What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds for courses. However, if you notify Cristy Becker within 1 business day of the event that you can no longer attend, you will be given a course credit to take another class in the future.
