VR Passport brings virtual reality experiences to kids in hospitals as a way for them to escape their environment, learn about new technologies and be entertained.
As seen on Breakfast Television Montreal: Watch here!
In this workshop for absolute beginners, we look at how to use Unity 3D and use it for VR.
At the end of the workshop, learners will be able to:
Create a project and save a scene.
Add simple GameObjects and add a Blender 3D object.
Sculpt a terrain.
The cool stuff: add a moveable character and add textures, particles, and other interesting assets.
Build your project into an app on Windows, Mac, and/or Linux
Understand how Oculus, HTC Vive, GearVR and Cardboard differ in Unity.
Add a Cardboard Component and add the Cardboard Camera.
Adults or mature teenagers with little or no programming experience.
Every learner must bring a laptop with the following free software installed:
Peter Wilkinson. Workshop leader, Jack-of-all-creative-trades, Unity Certified.
