Introduction to 3D Printing

This workshop presents a roadmap for getting started with 3D printing, from choosing a printer to setting up and calibrating it for 3D printing. This is a great course for both 3D printing novices as well as designers with existing modeling skills who want to enter the 3D printing marketplace.
Course content covers:
Basic concepts of 3D printing
Setting up a 3D printer
Types of Materials used for 3D printing (PLA, ABS, etc.)
Calibrating a 3D printer
Using Slicing software
3D printing and troubleshooting
> Intro to 3D Modelling Workshop (if you have no prior experience with 3D modeling software)
