About this event
Geared towards first time poultry raisers or those who are interested in raising backyard chickens, this virtual 2-part series will cover the basics and necessities when it comes to owning and raising backyard chickens. Registrants will receive information on flock health, handling, cost, bylaws, breeds, coop design, diseases, and more. Each 1.5-hour session will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A period with Cassandra.
This workshop is specifically meant for City of Cold Lake residents and will contain bylaws and regulations specific to that area. This workshop is approved and in partnership with City of Cold Lake and will meet their permit requirements.
The series will be hosted on the Zoom platform, but a Zoom account is not required to attend this series. Registrants will also be provided with access to session recordings once the virtual series has ended. Certificates of Completion are available for registrants who require them.

Thursday July 29, 2021 at 7:00 PM MST.

Both workshop sessions will be recorded and registrants will have access to view the recordings for up to 2 months.
