This is an introductory level course in to the world of Computer Aided Design, using Autodesk Fusion 360. This course will cover some of the basic principles of CAD, the rudimentary elements of the software interface, and basic modeling using primitives and solids. Participants will first be given a brief overview of CAD principles, as well as an introduction to the variety of applications in which these software are used. Next participants will be introduced to the Fusion 360 interface and how to navigate it. After which we will be diving in to creating simple parts using primitives, and solids.
Develop an understanding of what CAD software is, and it’s uses
How to navigate Fusion 360
How to model basic parts in Fusion 360
Audience: People wanting to create files for 3D printing, or CNC Operations. Also those interested in beginning the path of learning CAD software.
