This 3-hour course will focus on different styles of comedy writing, including physical, blackout and situational comedy. Through class discussion, exercises and examples we will develop and test out material and explore various approaches to comedy writing. Are you currently developing a routine or comedy script? Bring your materials to class for discussion and feedback.

To accommodate the amount of writing that will be done during the workshop, participants should bring a laptop computer with script writing software if possible.
