Event Details

Description: Want to create a social impact with your business idea? Come to this workshop ready to create a social enterprise, and we’ll help map it out in front of you. After introducing the Business Model Canvas, we’ll delve deep into its applications to social enterprise, and design both the business model and impact model of a new venture. You’ll have the opportunity to work hands on with canvas, surrounded by resources to support your process. You should expect to leave this workshop with a heightened understanding of what you’ll achieve with a social enterprise model, and how all the moving cogs of the business fit and work together to create sustainable social impact.

About the Presenter: Meredith Perich loves to see thriving communities, and believes small business to be at the heart of them. At Business Link, she excitedly works to support entrepreneurs, as a ‘go-to’ in helping them navigate the landscape of regulatory and licensing requirements, and providing market research support to clients. She is happy to be involved on a micro level, getting to know individuals and their own personal experiences in self-employment.

Usual weekend activities for Meredith include visiting the Farmers’ Market or taking off to enjoy the mountains. She owns a guitar, but is regrettably still really bad at playing it.
