Event description

Description

Please join the Toronto East Quadrant Local Immigration Partnership at our first Data Analysis Case Study Workshop. To build data driven decision making capacity among service providers, we hope to use real case studies to provide practical steps and recommendations for analyzing your data.

Over the last year the Scarborough Newcomer Needs and Trends project has been speaking to service providers about their capacity to improve services, outreach and ability to communicate success with data. When engaging service providers to build this capacity, practical activities presenting common data related situations has had the biggest impact. And so, the goal of this workshop is to present 2 to 3 case studies using mock data and together, as a group, build understanding through example.

We would like for participants to send us, anonymously, any common challenges with data or goals for service delivery improvement they may have. This will help us to mold the case studies to best suit the participants. No identifying information will be used to shape the case studies based on these suggestions.
