Introduction to Design Thinking in the Classroom - Vancouver
Mon, 24 October 2016, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM PDT
Join us for an evening of Design Thinking, at one of the world's top chocolate shops!
Design Thinking is a human-centered method of approaching problems and finding opportunities for innovation. It can be adapted to the classroom to help students develop creative thinking and problem solving skills while collaborating with their peers and diving deep into content.
You will engage in a design challenge with a group of passionate and creative educators. Learn about how to implement this problem solving approach in your classroom, and walk away with some great challenge ideas that you can use to engage your students.
Delicious treats will be served! The $25 fee includes all materials and food.
If you have any questions about the session please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
I've used the tools I learned at this workshop in my classroom. Not only do my students come up with interesting, well thought out creative solutions, they are also entirely engaged throughout the process! Each time we use these tools I am impressed with the results and am continuously amazed by the students designs.
