`Indigenous Pedagogies include: Circle discussions, teaching through story, teaching through metaphor (see Land Acknowledgement), mini-lessons, humour, learning from Elders, respect for the teachings, of all our relations (all aspects of creation), respect for ancestors, respect for generations to come, respect for children, learning from nature, teaching through ceremony, and teaching through apprenticeship.’

This workshop will explore the Seven Grandfather teachings, circle pedagogy and learning through biography. There is a little bit of homework for participants for this workshop. Please come to this workshop with some knowledge of the meaning and or story behind your name as we will be sharing as a group!
