Do you work with data in a spreadsheet? You probably do. Have you ever heard of OpenRefine? OpenRefine is a tool that allows you to work with CSV data in very powerful ways. Do you want to spot trends in your results? Make sure all data is entered consistently? Perform transformations to all of the rows of your data based on a formula? OpenRefine is the tool to use. While Excel can do some of these tasks it doesn't work as intuitively as OpenRefine. This tutorial starts at the very beginning and provides hands on examples for you to explore.
