About the Presentation:
Progressive contracting models adopt a collaborative development phase to advance design, cost, schedule, iteratively mitigate risk & adopt incentivization schemes prior to contract execution & delivery.
The guest speaker will walk us through the various progressive contracting models and how their associated risk is managed, and will also touch on their procurement process and evaluation method.
About the Speaker:
Colin Whitfield joined the Metrolinx Subway Program team as Senior Commercial Advisor in October 2021. He has over 25 years of commercial management experience on construction and infrastructure projects , including senior roles in private businesses and with large international contractors such as Balfour Beatty and Bouygues.
Colin has substantial expertise in areas such as commercial management of active construction projects, conflict avoidance, claims and dispute resolution, well as project controls and risk management. Colin is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and holds a Degree in Quantity Surveying.
