Workshop Description:

The session is designed to give candidates an overview of sales and show them it is fun, manageable and by following a few simple steps can open the door to business opportunities.

The most important thing in business is the customer. With no customer there is no business. This session is designed to link in with other business actions to help the candidate improve their confidence in sales.

The session will cover some fundamental approaches to sales, understanding customer needs, positioning your product, linking your product to the benefits the customer will see and closing the order. The objective is to build a practical step by step guide to selling.


Huw Chapman

Huw Chapman is an experienced business leader with more than 20 years of business leadership including P&L accountability. His career has included 20 years in sales, 9 years as a UK Managing Director for a major US company where he put in place their Shared Service operation.

Today he runs a consultancy called Boosting Business Performance which helps companies focus on sales, margin improvement or cost optimisation especially where there is a high level of employee engagement.

His recent work has included working with an organisation that helps start ups in their foundational years which means his experience covers small business experience through to large businesses.
