Event description
Learn how to create a basic webpage with HTML and CSS.

About this Event

Hyper Text Markup Language, or HTML, does more than just display buttons, comments and photos of cats: HTML allows people, computers and search engines to better understand the content on the page and link to even more content!

After learning about the history of HTML and exploring the Markdown language, we will use a plain text editor (the easiest piece of software on your computer) to create a simple webpage with content, hyperlinks and images. We will then style and customize our web pages using Cascading Style Sheets, or CSS.

Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

The registration for this event opens 2 weeks in advance at 9 am.
