Description

Veteran wigmaker and stylist Dianne Holme presents this introductory two-day intensive ventilating workshop. Learn the basic knotting skills needed to create wigs and facial hair for Film, TV and theatre.

Dianne has over 25 years experience working in Film, TV and theatre. Formally trained with wigmakers Donna Glidden and Rick Mucha, Dianne worked on productions such as Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and innumerable feature films and television shows. She has been teaching wigmaking at Vancouver Film School for eight years.

Fellow wigmakers Kerri Winter and Christine Hackman will be on hand to assist, providing a 2--1 student-to-teacher ratio. Class size is limited to 6 students.

By the end of this weekend workshop students will have made their first moustaches and learned the basic knotting skills necessary to continue on in the wonderful World of Wigcraft!

Course fees include a canvas wig block, ventilating hooks and handles, lace and hair. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. Classes run from 10am - 6pm for 2 days.
