Wednesdays 700pm-830pm - 4-Week Program

Only $20/Class!

Slow down and take some time for yourself. Learn why yoga has become an important part of so many people’s lives.

Over 4 consecutive weeks, this introductory series will give beginners a strong introduction to the basics of a yoga practice.

You will learn about:
• Asana (poses to stretch and strengthen your body)
• How to move in and out of poses comfortably and safely
• The function of the poses and some basic anatomy as it relates to the poses
• How to modify poses for individual bodies
• How to use props
• Pranayama (breathing practices for energizing, calming and balancing)
• Meditation and deep relaxation techniques

This class is suitable for absolute beginners, or for those who have a little experience, but would like to review the basics.

You are welcome to register for 4 weeks at a time, continuing in these beginner classes until you feel comfortable enough with your practice to start attending regular drop-in classes.

Class size is limited to 8 people.

Suitable for those with a little or no experience.
