About this event
It's been a long 3 years, and we couldn't be more excited to be back for this beloved event.
Relevant then, relevant now, and forever a classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life” is a beautiful lesson in what’s really important.
By screening this movie, we hope to shed light on the people and organizations that are working continually for the good of Calgary.
This event is about coming together to go back in time via a shared cinematic experience, to empathize with George Bailey’s hard lesson learned: that at the end of the day, we’re all important. And that our positive impact can be made all the more so when amplified by community.
The pandemic has truly thrown us all on a ride we never intended to get on, and Calgary isn’t the same city because of it. Calgary and Calgarians have really proved their mettle in their relentless ability and willingness to show up for each other when it matters, and that doesn’t get nearly enough airtime – so let’s make a whole night of it. ‘Tis the season, and ‘tis the life. And both are truly wonderful.
This night will be in benefit of all in attendance and in support of Calgary Counselling Centre and Lionheart Foundation.
We know life is different now, any donation amount you can pay makes a difference. Your attendance is gift enough!
**NOTE: there are two ticket options allowing those who are unable to attend the event to make a donation.
