IWB Project Shelter for Women

IWB Project Shelter for Women is our Empowerment Team project that collects and distributes gift-filled boxes to women impacted by domestic violence and homelessness in Toronto, Canada. For women who have been displaced from their homes and estranged from their families, special occasions can be particularly challenging. Often, women report feeling disconnected from society, invisible and alone. IWB Project Shelter for Women gift is a powerful reminder for a woman that she has not been forgotten and that she remains a valued and respected member of her community.On the agenda is meeting Shelter's Director, Programming planning for 2025 and Christmas Gift Distribution.
