Join us for an evening with Jackson Katz, educator, author, filmmaker and social theorist who has long been recognized as one of America's leading anti-sexist, male activists. 

Dr. Katz is internationally recognized for his groundbreaking work in gender violence prevention education in schools, the sports culture and the military.   Katz is the co-founder of the multiracial, mixed-gender Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) program at Northeastern University's Center for the Study of Sport in Society.  Today MVP is the most widely utilized sexual and domestic violence prevention program in college and professional athletics.  It has been implemented by NFL teams, Major League Baseball clubs, NASCAR, and many other sports organizations. Katz has directed the gender violence prevention program for the United States Marines Corps, U.S. Army personnel in Iraq, the U.S. Navy and he has served as a subject matter expert and consultant for the U.S. Air Force. He holds several academic degrees and he currently resides with his family in the Los Angeles area.
