Event description

Description

Do you want to enter a reportedly haunted historic Girst Mill and attempt communication with the Phantoms of Yore. This is an opportunity for you to enjoy a paranormal evening and at the same time support this historic site.
In 2010 Prescott Paranormal (No Longer Running) investigated the Martintown Grist Mill and captured an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) saying the name "Jacob". They believed that they were interacting with a spirit named Jacob who was perhaps a child. The investigators also detected electromagnetic signals that were interpreted as playful hide-and-seek activity by “Jacob” on the mill upper floor. Other incidents including the basement door closing and a several second interval of camera blackout were reported. Nearly 10 years later word has spread, visitors and community members know the name of Jacob, the resident spirit of the historic Mill.
Join the Phantoms of Yore in August and attempt communication with Jacob. participate in a paranormal workshop and investigation. Attempt to capture paranormal phenomena that may hint at who Jacob is or who he was. There are very limited spots open for this unique experience. Only 14 guests per evening. At this event you will learn about the history of the historic mill, take part in a paranormal workshop and presentation to learn how to use the investigative equipment. You will then investigate the Mill using the equipment and you will film your experience in the dark.
Must be 18 years or older, mature teenagers welcome with an adult when approved. Please private message us. No drugs or alcohol permitted. refreshments will be provided.
